Cookie Policy

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a simple small file that is sent along with pages from this website and is stored by the browser on the hard drive of your computer. The information stored therein can be sent back to our servers on a subsequent visit. A cookie is a file containing an ID (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. Cookies are small pieces of data stored in a visitor’s browser. They are usually used to track what settings users have selected and what actions they have taken on a site.

Cookies cannot be used to identify individuals, a cookie can only identify a machine. Cookies generally do not contain information that personally identifies a user, but personal information that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained through cookies.

Which cookies does Josatech Projects use and why?

Different types of cookies can be placed via our various online services. The cookies can be divided into different categories, which we list for you below. The cookies below are certainly not all placed at the same time via our website or (mobile) applications.

Necessary functional cookies

Necessary functional cookies are cookies that are necessary to use our online services properly. We use these cookies to guarantee the following benefits, among others:

  • Remember information that you enter or indicate on the various pages. This way you do not always have to fill in or indicate all your data or preferences again.

  • Save settings for optimal video playback, such as the desired buffer size and the resolution data of your screen.

  • Read your browser settings in order to display our website optimally on your screen.

  • Load the website evenly, so that it remains accessible at all times.

  • Let you comment on our website and in our apps.

No permission is required for the use of these cookies and they cannot be disabled.

Statistical cookies

Statistical cookies collect general information about how our online services are used. We can make statistical analyzes of the information we get in this way. How did you end up on our webpage? On which (mobile) application do you spend the most time? Statistical results allow us to make and improve the structure, navigation and content of our online services as user-friendly as possible.

Advertising cookies

Advertising cookies track your surfing behavior on our websites to compile your user profile. This profile is then used to show you advertisements that match your personal interests.

Advertising cookies can only collect data that tells something about your media use. Personal identification data such as your name or address, which you have entered in your user profile, for example, are not used for this. We will always ask for your permission to display customized advertisements on our online services. We do this via the cookie settings that appear on your screen when you use one of our online services. You can always withdraw your consent via the same settings.

Recommendation Cookies

Recommendation Cookies – just like advertising cookies – track your surfing behavior to compile your user profile. That profile is then used to provide you with a media experience that matches your interests. These cookies tell us something about your use of our online services, so that we can make more targeted recommendations and suggestions. Furthermore, these cookies ensure that the programs you have already watched do not appear again as a suggestion. In this way we hope to introduce you to new programs and information that you find fascinating, and that you may not have thought of immediately.

Social media cookies

Social media cookies are used to enable the integration of social networking sites on our website. Our online services may contain embedded elements from third parties. This may concern content that is stored with another party, but that is displayed on, in or via our online services. Furthermore, content can be shared via buttons via social networking sites on our online services. Examples of those social media are Facebook, Google+, YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitter. Those third parties may place cookies through our online services to collect data. We ourselves have no influence on what those social media do with their cookies. For more information about these cookies, we refer you to the statements that the third parties provide on their own websites. Please note that these statements can change regularly.

Google Analytics

A cookie is placed via our website from the company Google, as part of the ‘Analytics’ service. We use this service to keep track of and get reports on how visitors use the website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or if third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We have no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

For more information, read the Google Analytics Privacy Statement.

Own and third-party cookies

Own cookies are cookies that are from Instagram. Third party cookies are cookies that are placed on your device by another party through our Service. Third-party cookies may be placed on your device by someone who provides a service to Instagram, for example by helping us understand how our service is used. Third-party cookies may also be placed on your device by business partners so that they can use them to advertise products and services elsewhere on the Internet.

How can you change your cookie settings?
